'The Village' in Tipperary that's not just any village with its sports pedigree

Congratulations to former Tipperary footballer Declan Browne has been inducted into the Munster GAA Hall of Fame.
Declan is the son of Michael Browne who hails from Gortnalour, Ardfinnan.
Congratulations to Shauna O’Keefe who recently won her first professional Boxing match in London. Shauna is the granddaughter of Charlie Browne who also hailed from Gortnalour, Ardfinnan.
Shauna fights again in early February.

Tidy Towns
The Tidy Towns would like to thank everyone that helped during the year. The Fas and Tus workers, the Lotto Ladies, all the lads who helped at weekends, the County Council workers, Cllr. Michael Anglim who helped with funding and to the local businesses who supported us throughout the year. Without the help of the above mentioned we could not continue our work.
