Tipperary CBS school's Christmas market to take them to the county final of LEO competition

Tipperary CBS school's Christmas market take them to the county final of LEO competition

We had a great crowd in attendance for our annual Christmas Market in our PE hall last week.

Those in attendance were treated to 64 different mini companies created by 150 students, that provided products and services from sweets and cakes, sportswear, Christmas gifts and decorations, hand crafts, raffles, pie face where teachers seemed to be the main attraction, website design and many other innovative ideas.

Tipperary Local Enterprise Office Judge Shane Creamer complemented the boys on their innovations, business acumen and willingness to work hard and learn from the experience.

He told the students that this was the biggest school market he can ever remember attending and thanked the school for their efforts.

The Junior category winners on the day were Diarmaid Callanan and Philip Walsh.

The intermediate winners were Aaron Dee, Colm Finnegan and Benas Astrauskas, while Sean Brett was the senior category winner.

These boys now move onto the county final in February.
