Tribute band Playback are coming to Clonmel

Eight-piece Dublin-based tribute band Playback are bringing a live re-enactment of Talking Heads' concert film from 1984, 'Stop Making Sense', to Clonmel in February.

The event will be held at O'Keeffe's in Hearns Hotel, Clonmel on Friday February 9.

"Clonmel - we've got a tape we wanna play," say the band.

"We also have a big lamp, a really big suit and eight of Dublin's most energetic musicians.

"We're thrilled to team up with the people at ClonMelody to bring our celebrated 'Stop Making Sense' live recreation to O'Keeffe's.

"Come for 'Life During Wartime', 'This Must Be the Place' and 'Once In a Lifetime', and stay for the greatest hits encores".
