Sadness at bereavements in families with strong sporting links in south Tipperary

Bereavements
We extend sympathy to Paddy, Lory and Stephen Clancy of Shanakyle on the recent death of their sister Mrs Mary Kiely of Tramore, county Waterford.
Paddy and Lory were prominent members of Drangan Badminton Club and St. Patrick's GAA Club with whom they won several South and at least one county final.
Paddy also added in a few South finals in set dancing and won several other Set Dancing competitions.
May the soul of Mrs. Mary Kiely rest in peace.

We also extend sympathy to Denis Maher, Coolmoyne Fethard on the recent death of his mother Mrs. Carmel Maher (nee McGrath, Cloneen).
Denis and his wife Mary (nee Rowan, Mullinahone) were prominent members of successful St. Patrick's set dancers with whom they won several competitions including South finals.
Of course, the late Carmel Maher was a member of the McGrath family, Cloneen who had many connections with St. Patrick's GAA Club with her late brother Michael and his son Jim being former prominent players and both were also former Chairmen of the club.
May the soul of Mrs Carmel McGrath rest in peace.
