The Clonmel High School under 15 A hurlers played Thurles CBS in the Area Cup over the Christmas holiday losing out by 5-13 to 2-14 in a well-fought game.
These are very busy days on the hurling and football field for Clonmel High School CBS.
The school's senior panel now have two massive fixtures upcoming with Munster semi-finals in both hurling and football.
The hurlers are up against Rochestown on this Friday, January 19 in Mallow with a 12.30 pm throw-in; while the footballers will face St Micheal’s, Listowel is on Friday, January 26 at 12.30 pm with the venue for that game yet to be confirmed.
Reaching two provincial semi-finals is a great achievement for a school with a proud tradition in Gaelic games but hopefully there is still more to come from this group of players over the upcoming weeks.

The High School B team put in a battling performance but lost in the Area Shield to a strong Thurles CBS B team.
