A weekly offering from Tipperary poet Barry Williams - 'How are you feeling'

Feeling a bit under the weather,
Stretched to the end of your tether,
A cold a flu,
Shaking nearly turning blue,

Banged your toe,
Oh the painful woe,
Heads a bit blocked,
This viral condition has my system shocked,

At home laid about,
When do the stitches come out,
Going in soon,
Appointment is for half past noon,

To the more serious kind,
A strength is often impressively found,
Hearing about someone whose hit hard,
Hits you like an emotional shard,

God is good,
Nearly out of the wood,
Improving and recovering,
Every day a new territory discovering,

One point remains,
Through the supportive that rains,
It is regularly felt,
Health is your wealth.
