Annual 5k Road Race to take place this weekend in Tipperary
The annual Newcastle 5k Road Race will take place this Sunday, January 28, at 12pm in aid of Scoil Mhuire Newcastle National School.
Over the years this event has grown in stature as many athletes see it as an opportunity to test their fitness skills at the start of the year.
Various age categories available for the race.
Prizes given to the first, second and third man/woman home.
First prize for local woman/man home.
Entry fee is €12 for a single and €18 for a family .
Refreshments will be served in the community hall after the race
