Tipperary historical society's new season of talks gets off to a fantastic start

The first lecture series of 2024 by the Ormond Historical Society got off to a very good start at the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh, where a packed audience came to listen to guest speaker Reggie Goodbody deliver a thoroughly researched lecture on Boats and Barges on Lough Derg, with many illustrations of water transport up and down the River Shannon.
