Returned to the line up and with Connors in tow in the middle with the St Mary’s man, they dominated the middle throughout.
In what was his first competitive game in some time, Kennedy hit the ground running and got through a big workload, tracking back into defence several times to snuff out dangerous breaks in the full back line.
He has the defensive mindset to compliment the team around him, and he is well able to contribute going forward as we know, scoring a crucial point late on to put Tipperary in front when the game was in the melting pot.
