Back in action for the first time this year after finger surgery, Forde looks to be eager for action and he gave some flashes of his usual quality in Saturday’s win.
He scored a fine first-half point over the shoulder after being picked out by Rhys Shelly and got around the pitch really well, but he will be disappointed with some of his free-taking as he hit three wides from placed balls.
With Gearoid O’Connor unerring over the frees, Forde will be under pressure to keep hold of them but he has missed a lot of action and you would expect him to settle down on them again soon.
