Brewery Lane Theatre
Carrick-on-Suir's Brewery Lane Drama Group will stage Peter Quilter's hilarious play 'Glorious' at Brewery Lane Theatre from Saturday, April 6 to Saturday, April 13 inclusive.
This comedy is the true story of Florence Foster Jenkins. In 1940s New York, the performer who everyone wanted to see live was Florence.
She was an enthusiastic soprano whose pitch was far from perfect.
Florence was known as the first lady of the sliding scale. Her audience mostly fell about with laughter.
The cast includes- Maria Clancy, Michael Raggett, Jane Tennyson, Paula O'Dwyer, David Shee, Peter McGrath, Diana Prieto.
The play is directed by Esther Byrne. Ticket booking opens for patrons on March 16 and for non-patrons on March 23.
