Mullinoly, Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary, E41W2Y9

This charming cottage sitting on a one-acre site in the Tipperary countryside, which includes a solar-powered system, is going under the hammer at the end of the month.

Offering a serene setting within walking distance of Mullinahone village, the one-bedroom house has undergone recent enhancements including solar panels and a system enabling solar-powered living with a backup connection. A spacious shed on the property serves as storage and complements the solar panels.

Originally a stone cottage with four rooms, it has been transformed into an open-plan layout featuring a combined living and bedroom area on the left, a kitchen-dining space on the right, and a bathroom. The kitchen is plumbed for the washing machine and includes the Stanley wood-burning cooker which heats the water and radiators.

To the rear of the house is a large polytunnel which measures 15 meters and has water. The site holds great potential for agricultural or horticultural use, with a small stream at the back. It is listed with an AMV of €100,000 on Daft.ie ahead of the public auction on March 29.
