Anthony Powell has joined Slievenamon Golf Club the new General Manager with some great ideas in mind as the club prepares to celebrate its silver jubilee year.
New General Manager appointed
Another new boy this week is Anthony Powell, who has joined us as our new General Manager. Anthony has arrived brimming with ideas, so we are very interesting to see what excitement is in store for us on this - Slievenamon’s Silver Jubilee year.
Golf at last...
Our new additions to the Team heralded some new weather also, which allowed for our Competitions to begin in earnest.
On the Gents side, the Weekend Singles Stableford Competition held on 9 and 10 March resulted in Mike A Moloney taking 1st place with 39 points. 2nd was John Doherty on 37 points while Padraig Lahart took 3rd on 33 points.
In the Ladies Sunday/Tuesday 12 Hole Stableford on 10/12 March,, Geraldine Bartley took home the honours on 24 points.
