Owning House & Retirement Village near Carrick-on-Suir began its meals assistance programme delivering dinners to clients this week.
The first meals were supplied to clients under the programme on Tuesday, April 2.
“We were delighted with the numbers, both of those willing to volunteer and clients wishing to come on board with us,” said Owning House manager Eddie Reade.
He said meals are served directly to your door every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and include a fresh bowl of homemade soup for the price of just €7.
“We can be contacted here in Owning House on (051) 643136 any week day between 9.30am and 4pm if you or somebody that you know could benefit from our service," said Mr Reade.
