Increased activity on Tipperary golf course - a real sign of exciting days ahead

MEN’S GOLF

On a much brighter note, the recent improvement in the weather has seen a lot of increased activity on our golf course.
We had a great turnout for our Saturday singles with many visitors playing.
On Sunday we had our popular annual Masters competition won by David Charles on a great score of 38 points.
Our Saturday singles was won by James O’Doherty with a steady score of 32 points.

Summer Series begins this coming Saturday
We are now ready to start our summer series on Saturday 20th over 18 Holes.
Visitors playing with a member in the summer series entitles them to have an entry fee of €25.00
The summer series run on Tuesdays and Saturdays until September 13th which is the culmination of a grand final of 72 players.
Over the course of the summer series, our caterers are running a special offer for all members and visitors on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
A main course + Tea/Coffee for €15, so just ask for the golf special meal which runs between noon to 8pm.

Hole in One Competition
Please ensure your entry is in for the hole in one competition (€10) for a brilliant Technogym Bench, kindly sponsored by Liam Murphy Fitness Repairs which runs from April 16th to September 13th.
As we have had an interrupted start to the year, please can you all support to help establish this exciting new event,
which will hopefully benefit the Golf Club greatly for the current year and the future years.

LADIES GOLF
Teams
Hard luck to Ann Kinane Creamers’ Munster Women’s Trophy team who played Thurles on Saturday. The team fought hard but unfortunately the putts didn’t drop on the day.
Hard luck to our Revive Active Team beaten by Dundrum on Sunday. Margaret Creamer and Una Bohan’s team played their hearts out but were narrowly beaten by a strong Dundrum team.

Hole in One Competition
