The Dying Days film showing in Tipperary to raise funds for the Wetlands Project

The Dying Days is a film about the eventful and tragic last days of republican commander, General Liam Lynch.

The events portrayed took place 101 years ago in south Tipperary and Waterford, near the end of the Irish Civil War.

The Dying Days is being shown for the first time in north Tipperary in the Cabragh Wetlands Centre, Thurles as a fundraiser for the Wetlands Project on Thursday, April 18, at 8 pm, with admission costing just €10.

The evening will include a discussion on the War of Independence and Civil War in Tipperary led by filmmaker John Foley and historian, Michael Desmond and will end with tea/coffee and light bites.

No booking is needed. Just come to the Cabragh Wetlands Centre on the night for a most enjoyable evening.
