Rachael makes club camogie history following in footsteps of proud Tipperary hurler dad

Mullinahone's Rachael O'Meara with her proud Dad former Tipperary senior hurler Brian O'Meara, after the Tipperary Camogie Minor's All-Ireland victory over Waterford on Saturday last.

RACHAEL MAKES HISTORY

Huge congratulations are in order for our CJ Kickhams Mullinahone's Rachael O’Meara. Rachael was part of the All-Ireland winning Tipperary minor camogie team that beat Waterford last Saturday in Nowlan Park Kilkenny.

Rachael, the eldest daughter of Brian and Christine O’Meara, made history by being the very first minor camogie player from CJ Kickhams camogie club to win an All-Ireland medal.

The camogie club was only reformed eight years ago and Rachael’s success is a testament to all the hard work put in by the players and coaches in the club which includes her dad Brian, who himself played senior hurling for Tipperary.

Wishing you many more years of success Rachael and we are all very proud of your fantastic achievement.
