Mayor of Clonmel Cllr Richie Molloy with Ina Byrne
Clonmel darts player Ina Byrne enjoyed major success at a ranking tournament in Donegal over the weekend.
Her achievement was praised by the Mayor of Clonmel Cllr Richie Molloy who recently accorded her a mayoral reception.
" I am absolutely delighted that once again our Ina Byrne will be representing her country after her victory at the final INDO ranking event in Donegal. Ina will now travel to Latvia in July for the WDF European championships. She's just a credit to us and darts in general. Well done Ina. And also to Aidan O' Hara who has finished top of the youth boys rankings and will also travel to Latvia for the Europeans. Once again Clonmel will have two dart players travelling representing their country. A very proud moment," said Cllr Molloy.
