The local community is invited to come along and join in the joyful music at Old St Mary's Church in Clonmel

Old St Mary’s Church, Clonmel is hosting a Songs of Praise service at 3pm on this Sunday May 19.

Parishioners have been voting for their favourite hymns and the most popular will be sung on the day.

A total of 91 different hymns have been nominated, which is testament to the wide range of melodic hymns sung in our churches.

The local community is invited to come along and join in the joyful music.

The service will be taken by The Very Revd James Mulhall, Dean of Cashel and diocesan reader Janet Morgan, and the organist will be Dr David Butler from Cahir.

Refreshments will be served after the service and a collection will be taken in aid of purchasing IT equipment for St Mary’s Parochial School in Clonmel.
