Tipperary show receives 11 nominations for Stars of Tomorrow awards

Rockwell College is delighted to share the fantastic news that their  production of Oliver Jr, helmed by Suzanne Buttimer from the Rockwell Music Academy, has garnered an impressive 11 nominations for the esteemed Stars Of Tomorrow - Secondary School Show Awards 2024, presented by Spotlight Studios. 

These nominations stand as a testament to the dedication and talent of our entire cast, crew, and the supportive parents/guardians who have been instrumental in bringing this production to life.

 

Here is the list of the 11 nominations:

Best Emotionally Moving Performance for Ben Alston in Where Is Love

Best Costumes

Best Set

Best Parent/Guardian Support 

Best Student Leadership Role for Ciara Mohally 

Best Exceptional Fellowship Award for Jamie Whelan 

Best Behind the Scenes Team 

Best Props 

Best Live Music for Student Orchestra 

The Star of Tomorrow Award for John Bambury 

 

These nominations span a range of categories, highlighting the excellence and creativity that has been poured into every aspect of our production. 

From the poignant performances that have touched the hearts of audiences, to the meticulous craftsmanship evident in our costumes and set design, each nomination reflects the passion and dedication of our students and staff. 

As we eagerly await the results, all eyes are on the upcoming awards ceremony at the Ashdown Park Hotel in Gorey, county  Wexford, on June 4, 2024. The entire Rockwell community is rallying behind our nominees, ready to celebrate their achievements and cheer them on! 

Congratulations to all the nominees for their hard work and dedication. Your talent and commitment have truly shone through, and we couldn’t be prouder. Here’s to a night of celebration and recognition for the shining stars of  Oliver Jr.
