What now of the Munster GAA senior hurling championship without Tipperary in the running?

Liam Cahill's team are out for this season but there are still many permutations for the teams left in the competition. Cork have played all their games and finish the season on 4 points which may or may not be enough to qualify.

It will all depend on the results next Sunday. Clare are still in the running and will look to beat Tipperary to ensure they make the Munster final yet again.

They have two wins to date after beating Cork firstly and then Waterford last Sunday. The Premier County are playing for pride and will hope to salvage some minor comfort for supporters if they can beat the Brian Lohan managed side.

That game is at 4pm in Thurles next Sunday at 4pm. At the same time Limerick play Waterford and they will both be anxious for victory in a game with high stakes.

Waterford, currently on three points, are fighting to stay in the championship and should they beat Limerick they will qualify for the Munster final. If Limerick win, they are through to the final. The table in full as it stands is below.
