The Kilsheelan Kilcash man has come in for a fair share of the criticism over the years when the results weren’t going Tipp’s way, but it must be said that he was one of the few players to come away from Thurles on Sunday with credit.
He sniped the early goal at the start of the game and although he didn’t score thereafter, he was directly involved in assisting at least six points and won a lot of possession throughout to keep the Tipperary attack with some potency.
