A chastening day for the Ballina man. He has been a consistent performer during this poor period for Tipperary. However, he hit rock bottom on Sunday as Alan Connolly took him for 3-1 from play in a virtuoso performance.
Breen has done well at times in his new defensive role but he lost Connolly several times during the game, and the Cork forward made hay most of the time.
