Profound sadness descended upon Newcastle on Thursday evening last 23rd May when we learned of the sad passing of the late Sean Hyland, Clashganny West.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Molly and brother PJ.

Sean was well-known and highly respected in the area.

A very jovial man with a pleasant disposition.

Sean was a mechanic for many years in the Central Garage Clonmel.

In his spare time especially in the summer months he liked nothing more than be tending to his garden. Which was his joy.

He will be sorely missed not alone by his family, but all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Reposing at Condon's Funeral home on Saturday 25th.

Removal on Sunday to Our lady's and St Lawrence Church Fourmilewater. Where his remains were received by Fr Michael Twomey. Burial took place in adjoining cemetery.

We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Carmel, his sons Niall, Brian, Shane. His grandchildren, sisters Margaret and Antionette, brother Liam, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews, extended family and his many friends.

May Sean's gentle soul rest in peace.
