Garda Station on wheels rolls into parish in the heart of Tipperary today

Gardai will be offering a property marking service to local residents and also giving advice on personal and road safety.

Gardai will offer a property marking service and provide advice regarding house and personal safety and said ensuring high value items are marked with an Eircode is hugely important.

The Garda Community Engagement van will be stationed at Kickhams GAA Field in Dundrum on Wednesday, May 29 from 3pm to 7pm and there is no charge/fee for property marking. 

They will be out and about in other parishes over the coming days as well. A Garda statement said they would “like to see high value items like trailers and lawnmowers.

“We will also use the opportunity to speak to you on all aspects of safety including personal, online and in particular, road safety. Come along to the venues during the times stated below and say hello.”
