Clonmel High School CBS marked the end of a hugely successful GAA year by awarding the annual All-Star awards for hurling and football which honours players from all year groups and this year, the school announced its inaugural High School Junior and Senior GAA Players of the Year.

Going forward each year, these awards would be presented to players who excelled in terms of commitment, behaviour, leadership and skill for the High School teams.

CONALL WINS JUNIOR AWARD
This year’s Junior award winner was Conall Morrisson of Moyle Rovers who produced outstanding displays as the High School won the under 15 A county football championship and also a prominent player on both the under 15 and under 17 hurling teams.

Conall received an honorary plaque which is engraved with his name, along with a voucher for Elverys and a functional health screening, S & C classes and a nutritional plan from local gym, Elevate Fitness.

KILLIAN BUTLER WINS SENIOR AWARD
Killian Butler was a popular winner of the senior award as the Tipperary under 20 footballer and Moyle Rovers player had been pivotal in the High School senior hurlers reaching the Munster final and the semi-final of the Munster football championship.

Throughout his six years in the school, Killian had displayed great leadership and dedication and he was rewarded with an honorary plaque, a voucher for Elverys and a fitness screening and S & C classes from our senior GAA sponsor and former student Dean Kelleher and his gym Precision Health Performance.
