On Monday, we had our third annual CBS students golf tournament.
This was our largest yet, with 45 boys, all local golf club members, teeing it up in the brilliant sunshine.
We had students from each year in the school compete with some excellent golf witnessed, mixed with many fun and social moments.
Adam Bolger finished strongly to take third place, with last year’s champion Tom Gleeson putting in a great performance after injury to take second place and top honours going to Fiachra Johnson.
A huge thank you to Thurles Golf Club for the use of their facilities, President Arthur, who made the presentations and the staff and chef in the restaurant that provided the boys with lovely food after the golf.
