Local Historian Danny Grace led a history walk at Knigh, Nenagh.
The walk featured, among the places visited, its Medieval parish Church and Cemetery.
Part of the lesson was on the deaths of Thomas O'Brien and John O'Brien, both of whom were murdered by Crown Forces at Knigh on November 5 1920.
This was brought to mind by Danny on his history walk ,which concluded at Knigh Cross, where a monument was erected in 1925 to the memory of the O'Briens.
