West Tipperary Junior B Hurling Championship gets underway this weekend

There are three groups in the Tipperary Co-Op West Tipperary Junior B Hurling Championship

The Tipperary Co-Op West Tipperary Junior B Hurling Championship commences this weekend.

Group A
The action in Group A gets underway on this Friday, June 14, when Golden/Kilfeacle host 2023 beaten finalists Cappawhite in Golden at 7.30pm. On Sunday in the same group the game between Galtee Rovers and Emly, fixed for Bansha has been postponed.

Group B
Group B was due to commence this Sunday but the game between Arravale Rovers and Lattin/Cullen in Sean Treacy Park is now also off. The second game of the group is fixed for next Wednesday, June 19 when 2021 champions Clonoulty/Rossmore host Rosegreen in Clonoulty at 7.30pm.

Group C
Defending champions Solohead get their campaign under way this Sunday, June 16, when they travel to Kilcommon to face West Junior B Hurling League champions Sean Treacys with a 7pm throw-in.

The second game will see Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams host Cashel King Cormacs at Pairc Ciocaim, Dundrum on Sunday June 23 at 7pm.

Group A (top three qualify)
Emly, Galtee Rovers, Eire Og Annacarty Donohill, Golden/Kilfeacle, Cappawhite

Group B (top two qualify)
Lattin/Cullen, Rosegreen, Clonoulty/Rossmore, Arravale Rovers

Group C (top two qualify)
Solohead, Sean Treacys, Cashel King Cormacs, Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams

There will be a playoff between the third teams in Groups B and C for the remaining quarter-final spot.
