The May Monthly Medal prize at Ballykisteen Golf Club was won by Anne O’Connor, who accepted her prize from Lady Captain Olive Quinlan, on behalf of Ian and Brenda Quinlan, of Quinlan’s Bar, Tipp

The results for the May Monthly Medal are as follows :

Team Updates :
Congratulations to the JB Carr team on beating Clonmel with an impressive home win of 5-0. Ger Finnan and Willie Ryan are doing a great job here getting the team through the stages.
Congratulations to the Pierce Purcell team led by Mike Fitzgerald and Tomas Donnegan who won convincingly against Woodstock 3 1/2 to 1/2. Great win from the team in extremely poor playing conditions. They then followed this up with a Win against Adare in the following round.
The Senior Cup team won their game against Roscrea 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 captained again by Owen O’Keeffe and John O' Dwyer.
The JB Carr team who beat Clonmel convincingly 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 will play the winners of Waterford in the next round under the captaincy of Ger Finnan and William Ryan.
The Barton Shield team captained by Owen O' Keeffe and John O' Dwyer played Roscrea on Wednesday 12th June but unfortunately were beaten 3 & 2, with a high standard of golf played.
We would like to congratulate all our teams to date and those moving on to further rounds the very best of luck.
We would encourage members to support the teams when playing away and especially at home if at all possible. Sometimes this can be the difference in the tightest of games.
