James Woodlock will appeal the red cards his players picked up.
Tipperary picked up two red cards in the All-Ireland minor hurling final however many felt that the red cards were excessively harsh and that the players shouldn't have been penalized for fouls in that way.
Speaking about the appeal at the homecoming last night in Holycross, the manager said "I think it just needs to be done for the players," and he said on stage that it was an important thing to do for the management, for posterity and for the players themselves.
Manager James Woodlock said that the appeal will be through the County Board and will go through the proper channels. A big cheer went up at the homecoming in Holycross when it was announced to the crowd that the issue will be raised with the GAA over the coming days.
