Bumper crowd for Ladies Day expected at Tipperary Races

Coolmore Stud Churchill Stakes the feature race at Tipperary Races

Tipperary hosts a fine line up this evening

A bumper crowd is set to attend the last of three days racing at the Tipperary track this evening as the first race gets underway at 5.10pm with the gates open at 3.30pm.

The Annual Ladies Day Best Dressed Competition takes place this evening as well as prizes incude a €500 voucher for Carraig Donn, a €200 voucher for Dylan Oaks jewellers and 2 nights B&B with one evening meal for Farnham Estate.

At 6.15pm all eyes will be on the big feature race which is the grade three Class 1 Kevin McManus Bookmaker Grimes Hurdle for 4YO plus which has just over €41,000 for the first home. 

The favourite there is Daddy Long Legs with Paul Townend on board the 8/15 shot. Senecia and Minx Tiara follow on in the betting with the ground said to be good to yielding for the races.

After the racing ends the band Little Creatures take to the stage to continue the buzz later into the night.
