Tipperary rower chosen on Irish team for Under 23 World Championships

Clonmel’s Donnacha Keeley has been selected in the 2x for the Irish team to compete at the Under 23 World Rowing Championships, which will be held in Canada in August

Clonmel Rowing Club has congratulated club member Donnacha Keeley on his selection in the 2x for the Irish team to compete at the Under 23 World Championships, which will be held at St Catherine’s in Canada in August.

"So now we not only have to keep an eye on (Clonmel rower) Daire Lynch in the Olympics but we also have to monitor Donnacha Keeley’s progress in the Under 23 World Championships," said the club in a statement.

"You wait all day for a bus and then two come together!

"Well done guys".
