Young Tipperary people invited to take part in local design workshop

Young people in Nenagh are invited to join a tote bag design summer camp in the Nenagh Arts Centre.

The camp is open to anyone aged between 8 and 18 years-old.

It will run from Monday, August 12, to Wednesday, August 14.

Tickets cost €65 and can be bought through the Nenagh Arts Centre website.

This Summer Camp is for all young people who want to explore their creativity in many different ways.

They will explore through flower pounding, sewing, embroidery, painting and printing on fabric to create their very own tote bag.

It three day camp that will allow young people to discover new skills.

With the skills they have learned through designing their tote bag, they will create a group piece of art work to display in the arts centre, having an exhibition on the Wednesday evening.

They will create unique patches of fabric and sew them together as a group.

This will be an opportunity for young people to display their work to their family and friends.
