A welcome boost of energy for local Tipperary Tidy Towns committee

A great week was had with the sunshine in Cashel and gave a boost to the members of Cashel Tidy Town committee.

This was proven with the amount of work achieved by the committee going to great efforts to clean up the town.

Roads and kerbing were weeded, estate pathways and flower beds were cleaned and  many of the  pots around town got  a new lick of paint and the two four tier planters were  replanted with summer flowers,

The committee have thanked Eddie Fogarty in Tipperary County Council CE scheme and his staff for carrying out the watering of the many pots and flower beds and taking the bags of waste away.

They would also like to thank Kayleigh Price who went out and bought Ice creams and bottles of water for all of the volunteers and a to David McCaulif who donated the gallon of paint for them  to be able to clean up the plant pots.

Final thanks are passed on to the council for finishing the new work way from Main Street Carpark to the Back of the Court House Commandant Hogan Square.
