First ever All-Ireland winning Tipperary team to be honoured on All-Ireland final day

The 1999 Tipperary Senior Camogie team, which secured the county's first-ever Senior camogie title by narrowly defeating Kilkenny by a single point, will be honored at halftime during this year’s senior final at Croke Park.

This team marked the beginning of Tipperary camogie's most successful era, as they went on to win three consecutive titles, followed by additional victories in 2003 and 2004.

In celebration of the Camogie Association's 120th anniversary, not only will the jubilee team be recognized, but all All-Ireland winning captains have been invited to take the field on Sunday.
