A Tipperary community group protesting the planned installment of a solar panel farm adjacent to their village is set to make an appearance in RTÉ's Prime Time tonight.
Dualla Together, a community group established to protest against the installment of a solar farm in fields near the south Tipperary village will feature on the show as part of a news segment on the issue.
Keith Barry, a representative from Dualla Together, was interviewed by RTÉ journalists two weeks ago to highlight the group's concerns.
Dualla Together has campaigned against the major 129-hectare solar farm project which is set to be installed by energy company Power Capital Renewable Energy Limited.

The group, which claims to be "preserving Dualla for future generations", believe the proposed solar farm threatens Dualla's "natural beauty, habitats and water", and say they are committed to supporting their community.
Power Capital Renewable Energy Limited lodged the plans on March 4 this year, for a 10-year planning permission for a development consisting of the construction of a solar PV development on a 129-hectare site, in the townlands of Boscabell, Garranmore, Newark, Fussough, and Dually.
The Dualla Together Community Group previously launched a GoFundMe to attempt to raise €15,000 as part of their campaign against the solar farm installment, and have raised €8,000 to date.
The groups held a community meeting on Thursday June 27th, where they outlined a plan to hire a team of professional experts for the campaign, including hydrologists, ecologists, archaeologists, legal experts and planners to assist with their campaign.
In an announcement post on social media, Dualla Together said they are proud to be featured on Prime Time showcasing our professional and unified opposition to the proposed solar complex".
The programme will air at 9:35pm tonight on RTE 1, and Dualla Together say the programme "will present a balanced view on solar farms, featuring interviews with individuals representing both sides of the debate".
