Former Carrick-on-Suir town councillor Josie Waters celebrated her 90th birthday with a party in the Carraig Hotel on August 4.
The popular great-grandmother from St John’s Terrace, who turned 90 on July 26, marked the occasion with her family, friends and neighbours.
In her younger days, Josie was a keen runner and was also a noted charity fundraiser. She served on the former Carrick-on-Suir Town Council as an Independent councillor from 2004 to 2009.
