New boat for Clonmel Rowing Club named in honour of Olympic hero

Clonmel Rowing Club captain Alan Prendergast unveils the new club boat named in honour of Daire Lynch. Also included is Pat Kinsella, Vice-Captain of CRC, Philip Doyle, Daire Lynch, Cllr Declan Burges

Clonmel Rowing Club paid a lovely tribute to Olympic hero Daire Lynch at the homecoming event held at Kickham Plaza.

Captain Alan Prendergast unveiled a new boat named  the Daire Lynch as an acknowledgement of his achievement in winning an Olympic bronze medal.

The unveiling took place following the speeches that took place at the homecoming event that took place at the Kickham Plaza.
