Popular Irish musician to perform at local Tipperary village fundraising night

On October 4, there will be a Musical Extravaganza in Holy Trinity Parish Church, Fethard, with all proceeds going to the local Fethard and District Day Care Centre.

Local and international artists will perform, including Fethard Choral Group, Secondary School Choir, The Strappe Family, Joe Roche, Paul Hayes, Patrice Davern and special guest, Ronan Tynan.

Tickets are available from Daycare Centre, O’Sullivans Pharmacy, Fethard and online at www.gr8events.ie/amusicalextravaganza.

The Daycare Centre provides services to the older members of the Fethard community and those within a 20 mile radius.

They have been providing daycare and Meals on Wheels for almost 30 years.

Daycare services include collecting service users from their homes, serving a light breakfast.

Activities include gentle chair exercises, arts, crafts and games.

Daytrips are also a feature of our service, along with celebrations like Christmas, Positive Ageing, Birthdays, etc.

Our aim is to enable the older members of the community continue to live in their homes, by providing a supportive service suitable for their needs.
