West Tipperary under 19 hurling and football championships at knockout fixtures stage

U19A Hurling Championship
The round robin stage of the Joe Hayes Cleanline West U19A Hurling Championship concluded last Wednesday. Cashel King Cormacs defeated Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams, 1-24 to 1-16 at Pairc Ciocaim, Dundrum. The result sees Cashel King Cormacs qualify for the final.
The semi-final between Golden/Kilfeacle and Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams is fixed for Wednesday September 4th at 6pm in Clonoulty. Finish on the day rules will apply.
Golden/Kilfeacle will be aiming to set up a rematch of last year’s final against Cashel King Cormacs while Kickhams will be looking to reach a third decider in four seasons.
Cashel King Cormacs await the winners in the final on Tuesday September 10th at 6pm in Clonoulty. South champions St. Marys await the winners in the County semi-final in Littleton on Thursday September 12th at 7.30pm.
U19B Hurling Championship
The 4th Cooper Fencing West U19B Hurling Championship final is fixed for this Wednesday September 4th at 6pm in Cappawhite. Finish on the day rules will apply. Defending champions Eire Og/Sean Treacys take on Arravale Rovers in a repeat of last year’s final.
Eire Og/Sean Treacys will be looking for a third title having also claimed honours in the 2021 running of the competition. They will be aiming to become the first side to retain the competition. Arravale Rovers will be playing in their second final and looking for a first title in the grade at the second attempt.
The winners will meet the South champions in the County semi-final on Wednesday September 11th at 7.30pm in Clonoulty. St. Patrick’s will play Kilsheelan Kilcash in the South decider this Wednesday September 4th at 6.15pm in Monroe.
Cup The Loughman Centenary Cup will be presented to the winners. First presented to the Board in the centenary year of 1984. The Cup was presented by Ted Loughman
Venue: Cappawhite will host the West U19B Hurling Championship Final for the first time.
Referee Donal Ryan (Cappawhite) will take charge of his first West U19B Hurling Championship.
U19A Football Championship
In the Tipperary Print & Design West U19A Football Championship Cashel King Cormacs have conceded to Galtee Rovers in their semi-final meeting.
Galtee Rovers and Golden/Kilfeacle will meet in a rematch of last year’s final which is currently fixed for Thursday September 12th at 6pm in New Inn.
U19B Football Championship
In the Bridge House Golden West U19B Football Championship the second semi-final between Arravale Rovers and Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams is fixed for this Friday September 6th at 6pm in Solohead. Finish on the day rules will apply.
Defending champions Kickhams will be aiming for a second final appearance in a row. Arravale Rovers will be aiming to reach a first final in the grade.
Eire Og/Sean Treacys await the winners in the final on Tuesday September 10th at 6pm in New Inn.
