A decision is to be made by Tipperary County Council following an application for retention of a property in Loughlohery, Cahir, county Tipperary.
The applicant is seeking permission for retention of a single storey dwelling and detached domestic garage as constructed.
The executor of the Will of Noreen Kearney made the application under the Planning and Development Act 2000 at the end of last August and it is pending review and approval which could take until October of this year - with a decision due by the council on or before October 24.
The late Noreen Kearney passed away on Friday, February 16 earlier this year, the application comes six months after her death.
The property is described as being a single storey dwelling with a detached domestic garage and the application seeks the retention of the property in its current state while seeking further permission to regularise all buildings on the property.
Applications for planning permission were made initially in 1971 and 1977 by the previous owner Michael Davis for the fitting of a septic tank and the construction of an extension on the side of the property.
After 1977 new owner Patrick Kearney applied for permission to install an additional septic tank and the construction of the detached domestic garage both of which were approved in 1980.
Mrs Kearney is predeceased by her husband leaving the estate in her name.
Pending an inspection of the property, the council's decision is expected to be confirmed within the next five weeks.
