The Revenue Commissioner has collected a sum of €126m from the controversial Local Property Tax (LPT) between 2013 and 2023.
Minister for Finance Deputy Jack Chambers has shared data which shows collections for a given LPT year rather than a calendar year.
The data was shared following a Parliamentary Question from Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh.
The Sinn Féin TD asked the Minister about the amount of LPT that has been collected in each county by the Revenue Commissioners annually since its introduction.
The figures provided throughout the ten years since the Government's introduction of the hated LPT tax indicate that collections have remained steady year-on-year since they doubled after the first year.
In its first year €6.2 million in LPT was collected in Tipperary followed by €12.2 million in 2014 before a slight decrease the following year to €11.6 million.
Figures for Tipperary's LPT have remained between €11.6 million and €12.7 million between 2015 and 2023.
