Tipperary secondary school graduates take part in Central Bank work experience

Rockwell College has announced that recent graduates Padraig Duggan and Peter Heaney, who, along with fellow Economics student Ronan O’Connor, won the Generation €uro National Final in 2023 with the support of their teacher, Mr Patrick Egan, were recently invited back to the Central Bank of Ireland for a two-day pre-college work experience.

Unfortunately, Ronan could not attend due to illness, but Padraig and Peter made the most of this valuable opportunity.

The placement provided them with an in-depth look into the financial sector, further enriching their understanding of banking and economics.

Rockwell College say they are thrilled to see these students continue to excel.

The experience at the Central Bank underscores their dedication and prepares them for future success in their careers.

The school extends its congratulations to Padraig, Peter, and Ronan for their continued achievements and look forward to seeing their future accomplishments.
