Tipperary based ABP wins 17 awards at the Irish Quality Food & Drink Awards

ABP have a number of Irish hubs including a premises in Cahir.

ABP has secured 17 awards at the prestigious annual Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards (IQFDA), which took place on 10th September at the Mansion House in Dublin.

The company received six Gold Awards, seven Silver Awards, and four Bronze Awards for its meat products across nine different categories. The Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards recognise and celebrate the best retail, wholesale, and foodservice food and drink products available in Ireland.

ABP received Gold Awards across the categories of Beef Steaks Sirloin, Beef Steaks Striploin, Burgers and Meatballs, Reduced Fat Meat, and Foodservice Meat for the following products:

  • Sirloin Steak
  • Irish Black Angus Striploin Steak
  • Irish Wagyu Beef Meatballs
  • 5% fat lean Irish Beef Burgers Chipotle Chili Seasoning
  • Irish Nature Mohawk Steak
  • Irish Nature T-Bone Steak

ABP's Irish Nature T-Bone Steak was also recognised as the 'Foodservice Product of the Year', underscoring the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of the company's offerings in the foodservice sector.

The company also received Silver Awards across the categories of Beef, Beef Steaks Other Cuts, Beef Steaks Ribeye, Beef Steaks Striploin, Burgers and Meatballs, and Reduced Fat Meat for the following products:

  • Irish Black Angus Rib on The Bone
  • Quick Fry Steaks with Tennessee Style BBQ Glaze
  • Tipperary Dry Aged Angus Rib Eye Steak
  • Irish Wagyu Striploin Steak
  • Irish Angus Striploin Steak
  • Beef Burger
  • Reduced Fat Meatballs with Smoked Parika, Sundried Tomato & Chive Seasoning

  • Irish Black Angus Fillet Barrel with a Mushroom & Madeira Sauce
  • Irish Three Pork Roast with Bacon, Shallot & Parsley Stuffing & Rosemary
  • Irish Angus Rib Eye Steak

ABP was recently announced as the first Irish beef processor to launch in the South Korean market by securing an export agreement with K Meat, a premium meat importer with advanced sales channels across South Korea.
