Value Centre, Clonmel, part of BWG Foods UC, recently celebrated its 50th birthday by hosting a celebration party for customers and staff.
Value Centre is Ireland’s largest network of Wholesale Cash & Carry’s with 22 branches nationwide offering both a walk in and delivered service.
Trading in Clonmel since 1974, Value Centre Clonmel provides employment to more than 40 people locally.
Branch manager Tom Ryan said: "We are delighted to be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Value Centre Clonmel and it was wonderful to mark the occasion with our customers and staff recently. We are looking forward to the next 50 years with Value Centre continuing what we do best, which is delivering great service to the business community of Clonmel and the greater area."
Value Centre Clonmel has undergone two major revamps in recent years and has strong ties to the local community, including a partnership with the National Learning Network and Cluain Training, through which the staff give their time to help those with learning difficulties by introducing them to a real live working environment.

Servicing over 1,000 businesses locally, Value Centre Clonmel boasts a 35,000sq feet premises and serves the local businesses and communities of Clonmel, Cahir, Thurles, Tipperary town, Cashel, Carrick On Suir, Clogheen, as well as Mitchelstown in Cork and Waterford City and County.
