Councillors call for extension on Tipperary graveyards

Local graveyards around the county are almost full and in need of more space

The concerns were raised during the Tipperary-Cahir-Cashel municipal district meeting which was held today in Tipperary Town.

Local councillors have called for extensions of graveyards in Ardfinnan and Cashel.

Space is running out and councillors are calling for the graveyard in Ardfinnan to be extended, while another site will be needed to extend the Cashel graveyard.
