Bansha Pre-School has reopened in a new loction.

Councillor John O'Heney put out a statement on his social media this morning adressing the re-opening of the Pre-School, and what it means for the locals and the community.

He said: "Smiles of sheer joy from Parents, Staff and Children alike as doors opened this morning on the grounds of Bansha Gym.

"Retaining this Service in the Community has been a major issue and I am thrilled to see it resolved.

"We all put in a huge effort to getting it over the line. Well done to Paula and John Ryan for all their work and I wish them, staff member Ciara Halpin and all the Children a very happy School year ahead.

"I would like to thank the Tipperary County Council Planning Section for all their help, guidance and their work with me throughout, and to County Childcare Officer Ger Boland who done so much work on this project.

"She was truly amazing.

"A special mention to Willie and Stephanie Tarrant who were very accommodating in the use of their premises and helping us relocate.

"They went above and beyond to help and they are fantastic Community people.

"Thank you to the Taylormade fitness staff who were also very helpful.

"All your Fitness and Childcare needs can now be found in one location in Bansha Village.

"A final work of thanks to the newly formed Bansha Childcare Committee, chaired by the fanastic Catherine Doyle, who worked very hard to make this a reality, when things looked very bleak at times over the last year.

"This is a great day for Childcare in our Community," he concluded.
