Tipperary GAA ready to launch 'Win a House' Fundraiser next Saturday evening

Tipperary GAA have announced the launch of their "Win a House in Cashel" Fundraiser.

In an effort to generate much-needed funds for the county, Tipperary GAA is set to launch an ambitious fundraiser, with a brand-new house in Cashel as the first prize.

Tickets for the draw, priced at €100, will be distributed to clubs in the coming days, with the official launch scheduled for September 28th at Boru Boru, Cashel.

The fundraiser, spearheaded by County Chairperson Jimmy Minogue and Vice Chairperson Michael Tierney, is expected to be a huge success.

Clubs stand to earn €30 for every ticket sold, meaning a club that sells 100 tickets could raise €3,000 for themselves.

With a target of 20,000 tickets to be sold, the fundraiser is hoped to generate significant funds that will be used exclusively for improving facilities for players and teams.

Minogue emphasized the importance of the initiative, urging every club to get involved.

"We expect a huge interest in this draw, especially from people outside the GAA community," he said, predicting that 90% of tickets will be purchased by individuals with no direct GAA involvement.

The draw is set to take place over St. Patrick’s weekend in 2024.
