Cost of running underage teams revealed at recent Tipperary GAA county board meeting

The cost of running underage squads in Tipperary over six months amounted to just under €200,000 according to a recent meeting of the county board in Thurles.

Tipperary GAA CEO Murtagh Brennan revealed at the recent county board meeting that the cost of funding various underage county squads from October 1 to March 31, 2024, amounted to €199,678.08.

Brennan provided a detailed breakdown of expenses incurred by the hurling and Gaelic football teams and noted that while the rising costs present a challenge, the county remains committed to supporting its players and teams.
